Many power meters calculate power using the mean angular velocity of the pedal stroke (AVG) instead of the instantaneous (ACTUAL) one: introducing a possible additional error, up to 4.5% of the declared accuracy.

On the other hand, thanks to the unique IAV Power system and the integrated gyroscope, Assioma measures the effective instantaneous angular velocity, which guarantees you the same degree of accuracy of ±1% with any pedaling style, even with oval chainrings.
